Application for Graduation:  Every student must apply for graduation through a process that begins with the completion of a Graduation Worksheet. The Graduation Worksheet is due to Undergraduate Advising & Academic Support on the last day of Schedule Adjustment (the first 2 weeks of classes) in the semester in which the student is intending to graduate. Students who do not turn in a Graduation Worksheet WILL NOT graduate in the semester of application. NOTE: Graduation has several steps, listed on the top of the Graduation Worksheet, and all steps must be completed.

Graduation Letter Request:  As students begin to search for full time employment, prospective employers may require documentation that the student will graduate by a certain date. In this situation, students can complete a Graduation Letter Request from Undergraduate Advising & Academic Support.

Fundamentals of Engineering Exam Verification Request:  Engineering students who wish to take the FE Exam require verification from Undergraduate Advising & Academic Support that they are within six months of graduation.

Embassy Letter Request [pdf]: Upon successful completion of all remaining courses and meeting all University requirements, a student can submit a request for verification of anticipated graduation for an embassy to allow parent(s), guardian(s), or other family members to attend the Engineering Commencement ceremony.

Mandatory Academic Advising:  All engineering students must meet with a departmental academic advisor prior to registering for courses for the coming semester. Students who are on Academic Probation must also make an appointment and meet with an advisor in UA&AS. If a student does not meet with their advisor, they will be UNABLE to register for courses.

Selecting Upper Level Electives: Depending on their major, engineering students will have upper level technical electives from which to choose. Students can visit their academic advisor to discuss their interests and determine appropriate electives for their degree program.
