"Because Engineers Rule the World"

Join the Tuesday Colloquium on the history of technology organized by the National Museum of American History. Refreshments at 3:30pm.
Dr. Marsh holds a B.S. in Engineering (Swarthmore) and a Ph.D. in History of Science, Medicine and Technology (Hopkins). Trained as a historian of technology, her research focuses on how the general public comes to understand complex engineering ideas through informal education. She is currently working on The Ultimate Vacation: A History of Factory Tours in America in both book and exhibit form. She currently is the Goldman-Sachs Fellow at the Smithsonian Institution's NMAH.
