The Symposium will showcase current and emerging cybersecurity research being conducted at the Center, featuring technical talks and tutorials by MC2 scientists, with topics ranging from fast on-line security upgrades, privacy in social media, security forensics, protocols for secure cloud computation and communication, supply chain security, reverse engineering and program analysis, and more.
We are also pleased to have four distinguished keynote speakers:
Dr. Steve Bellovin, Columbia University and Chief Technologist at the Federal Trade Commission, on The PKI Challenge
Dr. Kathleen Fisher, DARPA and Tufts, on High Assurance Cyber Military Systems (HACMS)
Randy V. Sabett, J.D., CISSP, Counsel at ZwillGen PLLC on Electronic Countermeasures - The Controversy Over Active Cyber Defense
Dr. Fred Schneider, Cornell University, on a Doctrine for Cybersecurity.
Finally, several companies (including MC2 corporate partners, see below) will have tables at the event, providing opportunities for networking and partnership.
