Mosleh Awarded Professorship

Professor Ali Mosleh

Professor Ali Mosleh

Ali Mosleh, professor of mechanical engineering and director of the Reliability Engineering Program, has been awarded the Nicole Jurie Kim Eminent Professorship at the Clark School.

The appointment recognizes Mosleh's sustained and influential scientific and scholarly work in the area of reliability engineering. The funds from the Nicole Jurie Kim endowment further support his research and education programs, allowing him a more active role in the promotion of the reliability engineering program and to serve as a role model for other faculty.

"The Kim Chair will provide further recognition for Prof. Mosleh’s outstanding contributions to the field and accelerate the rise to national prominence of the Center for Risk and Reliability and the Reliability Engineering program," states Avram Bar-Cohen, chair of the mechanical engineering department.

The Nicole Jurie Kim Eminent Professorship was funded by Clark School alumnus, professor of practice and benefactor Jeong H. Kim, '91 reliability engineering, in honor of his daughter.
