AnthroTronix Wins Tech Museum Award

AnthroTronix Inc., a former participant in the Technology Advancement Program offered by the Maryland Technology Enterprise Institute, has been named a 2005 Tech Museum Awards Laureate.

The human factors engineering and research and development company, founded in 1999 and based in Silver Spring, Md., was recognized for its technologies that motivate children with disabilities to engage in therapeutic and educational activities.

AnthroTronix also works on technology for use in rehabilitation, the military, entertainment and space.

The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, Calif., grants the awards for pioneering work that benefits society through the use and/or development of new technologies.
