ASA Selects Espy-Wilson as Fellow

Carol Espy-Wilson

Carol Espy-Wilson

Associate Professor Carol Espy-Wilson, electrical and computer engineering and Institute for Systems Research, has been named a Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA).

The ASA will bestow the honor on Dr. Espy-Wilson in June 2006 for her “contributions to speech communication and mentoring.”

Dr. Espy-Wilson’s research interests include digital speech processing and analysis, vocal tract modeling and acoustic phonetics and lexical access.
