NY Times Writer Lipton Speaks on World Trade Center Rebuilding

How was the World Trade Center created? What politics were involved? What were the crucial design and construction decisions? How did all these factors determine, in part, who would live and die in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001? And how will this tragic history influence the building of the Freedom Tower at Ground Zero?

As a guest of the Clark School's Fire Protection Engineering department, Pulitzer Prize-winning correspondent Eric Lipton will tackle these and other questions spanning the conception, design, construction, operation, destruction, clean up and rebuilding of the World Trade Center. Join this fascinating discussion of the defining event of our young century at 2:00 on Monday, October 25 in Resnik Hall.
