Modarres Earns International Research Leadership Award

Professor Mohammad Modarres

Professor Mohammad Modarres

Professor Mohammad Modarres was granted the 2008 International Research Leadership Award, conferred by the Society for Reliability Engineering, Quality and Operations Management. Modarres was recognized for his exceptional and pioneering research leadership in Probalistic Risk Assessment. The award was given out in early January at the International Conference on Reliability, Safety and Quality Engineering in Mumbai, India. Professor Modarres is the Director of the Nuclear Engineering Graduate Program in the A. James Clark School of Engineering, and a faculty member of the Reliability Engineering program.
