President's Commission On Women Honors Gumbs

Civil and Environmental Engineering Business Manager Rhyneta Gumbs has been chosen to receive the President’s Commission on Women’s Issues 2008 Staff Award.

The award honors outstanding women on campus for their exemplary contributions and positive impact on the university and its community.

Gumbs was nominated for the award by Prof. Amde Amde. Gumbs has been employed at the university since 1997 and is described as a "cornerstone and a great resource for faculty, staff and students."
