The group, which was started in the fall of 2006, is dedicated to fostering a sense of community among graduate female students in the ECE department through opportunities, resources, services, and events of interest to current students. This group also works to mentor the undergraduate women of the department.

The Undergraduate Women of ECE are also an active group, and plan to seek formal recognition as a campus group in the near future.

Treasurer/Secretary: Masoumeh Haghpanahi

The at-large members of the WECE executive committee are Jui-Ping Chiang, Jean-Marie Lauenstein, and Harita Tenneti.
