Galloway Named Honorary ASCE Member

Prof. Gerald Galloway

Prof. Gerald Galloway

Civil engineering professor Gerald Galloway has been named an honorary member of the American Society of Civil Engineers—an honor bestowed on only 555 members since 1853.

Galloway is a retired brigadier general in the Army Corps of Engineers and has served as an expert in the wake of the Katrina disaster, helping the government assess the area and advising municipalities on how to prevent such calamities in the future.
