Spring Debut for New Gen Ed Courses

The university's General Education Task Force has introduced several new courses that will debut in the spring semester as part of the new general education program on campus.

Through these courses non-engineering majors can explore questions and obtain a better understanding of the role of engineers and technology in improving the world.

Clark School professors will be offering the following courses as part of the program:

David Lovell (civil and environmental engineering and Institute for Systems Research): "Engineering in the Developing World."

Wesley Lawson and Romel Gomez (electrical and computer engineering): "Engineering Issues in Medicine"

Gerald Galloway and Ed Link (civil and environmental engineering): "Managing Natural Disasters: Hurricanes, Floods, Earthquakes, Tornadoes, Tsunamis, & Fires."
