Abaziou’s Techno-Sciences, Inc. Among Fast 500

Techno-Sciences, Inc., a Beltsville, Md. company founded by a Clark School professor and led by a Clark School Board of Visitors member, has been listed on Technology Fast 500™, Deloitte LLP’s ranking of 500 of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America.

Techno-Sciences' CEO is Clark School Board of Visitors Member Jean-Luc Abaziou, and the company was founded by Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Gil Blankenship.

Abaziou credits the company’s innovative solutions in Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) and high level of customer service with the company’s revenue growth over the past five years.

"Techno-Sciences is well positioned to grow rapidly in the coming years with innovative product offerings in the MDA market and a long history of excellent customer services,” said Abaziou.

Deloitte’s 2009 Technology Fast 500 rankings are based on percentage of fiscal year revenue growth during the five year period from 2004–2008. Techno-Sciences, an ECE Corporate Affiliate, grew 371 percent during this period. For more information, visit Deloitte’s 2009 Technology Fast 500 website.
