Brubaker receives E. Robert Kent Teaching Award

Kaye Brubaker, associate professor in civil and environmental engineering, was the recipient of the 2003 E. Robert Kent Outstanding Teaching Award for Junior Faculty. This award is given to a junior faculty member for excellence in teaching.

Brubaker is held in high regard by both her peers and her students. Her peers describe her as one of the most motivated and dedicated instructors in the department and a leader in the use of technology in the classroom. Students remark on her enthusiasm, her engaging teaching style, and her use of current, real-life examples in her teaching.
