Dean Farvardin named one of "The Five To Watch" by the Washington Post

Nariman Farvardin, dean of the Clark School of Engineering and professor of electrical and computer engineering, is one of "The Five to Watch in 2003" in business named by The Washington Post.

While visiting Silicon Valley several years ago, Farvardin experienced an entrepreneurial epiphany. He wants to duplicate that region's success here by example–his Zagros Network Inc. is a tech successful start-up in a dreary financial climate; and with what one associate describes as "mind-boggling" energy.
