Clark School Participates in MURI Programs

Several Clark School faculty members are involved in three different research projects that have been awarded Multidisciplinary University Research Initiatives (MURIs) by the U.S. Department of Defense:

• Rama Chellappa (electrical and computer engineering [ECE]) and Larry Davis (computer science) are involved with a MURI awarded to Carnegie Mellon University titled "Rich Representations with Exposed Semantics for Deep Visual Reasonings."
• Sean Humbert (aerospace engineering and Institute for Systems Research [ISR]) and Tim Horiuchi (ECE and ISR) are involved with the University of Washington's MURI titled "Animal Inspired Robust Flight with Outer and Inner Loop Strategies."
• John Baras (ECE and ISR) is a part of "Multi-Layers and Multi-Resolution Networks of Interacting Agents in Adversarial Environments," a MURI led by the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
