Sikorsky Gifts Create New Scholarships
Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, a Clark School Corporate Partner Company, has pledged $50,000 to create the Sikorsky Endowed Scholarship in support of undergraduate engineering education.
The scholarship fund will support students in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical and computer engineering with awards of up to $3,000 per recipient per year. Recipients will be selected by the Center for Minorities in Science and Engineering and shall be called Sikorsky Endowed Scholars.
In addition, Sikorsky has donated $25,000 to support scholarships during the 2011-2012 academic year. Three $5,000 undergraduate scholarships and one $10,000 graduate fellowship will be awarded.
