Students ♥ the Clark School

Jacob Dieguez

This is going to get a little—mushy. For Valentine's Day, Clark School Alumni Director Josey Simpson challenged students to write "Why I love the Clark School" notes. Exclamation points were everywhere. Responses ran from "Sleepless, nights, awesome friends!" to "Because we have events with free food!" to "I love you, I want to marry you!" to "Because I've met so many uber-intelligent people here." Some of the most-cited reasons were the school's community and diversity, dedicated professors, helpful staff, great opportunities. One student left a break-up note saying he was leaving the school to find his love in California--"be good, don't cry. Love, Mike." Simpson awarded prizes to Jacob Dieguez (pictured; first, a Clark School duffel bag), Teddy Levine (second, a Clark School t-shirt) and Cat Shelton (third—if you see her, tell her to come by for her Clark School umbrella).
