17 Clark School Students Earn NSF Fellowships

The following incoming, current and former Clark School students have received National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowships:

  • Hanna Nilsson (grad student; materials science and engineering)
  • Christine He (chemical engineering)
  • Kelley Marie Heffner (bioengineering)
  • Saara Anwar Khan (electrical engineering)
  • Robin Klomparens (aerospace engineering)
  • Andrew Sabelhaus (mechanical engineering)
  • Pamela Sanchez (grad student; mechanical engineering)
  • Phillip Sandborn (electrical engineering)
  • Victoria Stefanelli (bioengineering)
  • Sean Symon (aerospace engineering)
  • Carol Wong (mechanical engineering)

The number of undergraduate students who received fellowships this year doubled from last year.

The Graduate Research Fellowship Program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees at accredited US institutions.
