Mote, Augustine Lead National Academies Panel on Defense and STEM

Clark School professor of mechanical engineering C.D. "Dan" Mote, Jr., along with former Lockheed Martin CEO Norm Augustine, recently led a National Academies panel that examined the Pentagon's future workforce needs in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

The resulting report, "An Interim Report on Assuring DoD a Strong Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Workforce," is available on the National Academies Press web site.
