Clark School Minority Scholars and Benefactors Honored

The Center for Minorities in Science and Engineering honored the Clark School's best and brightest minority students at its recent annual banquet. The event centered on the main theme of "Knowledge and Empowerment Through Networking."

More than 300 guests attended, including representatives from 14 companies who participated with students in a networking reception before the banquet. Honors went to more than 160 students for academic excellence. Graduating seniors and outstanding alumni and staff also received recognition.

Sean Reineke, vice president for business development at Lockheed Martin Transportation and Security Solutions, served as guest speaker at the event, presenting the "MAESTRO" model for career development. Lockheed Martin was also one of the event's major sponsors.
