Draper Award Winners and Innovation Hall of Fame Inductees

On February 21, 2005, Edward A. Miller, '50, and James W. Plummer, '53, received the Charles Stark Draper Prize from the National Academy of Engineering—one of the world's preeminent awards in engineering—for their pioneering work in the top-secret Corona Project. Both alumni were subsequently inducted into the Innovation Hall of Fame.

The 9th Annual Clark School of Engineering Alumni & Faculty Golf Outing

On September 20, 2012, ten teams enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon at the University of Maryland Golf Course and the friendly competition offered by our “Captain’s Choice” tournament. It was a great opportunity to network with alumni, friends and colleagues, topped off with an awards banquet and silent auction with proceeds benefiting the A. James Clark School of Engineering Alumni Chapter and the Engineering Alumni Chapter scholarship fund.
