Professional and Amateur Pinball Association No visit to New York is complete without a visit to The Broadway Arcade, home of the Professional and Amateur Pinball Association (PAPA).
Located at Broadway and 52nd Street, Broadway is the home of serious pinball in New York City. Steve Epstein has been the driving force behind the PAPA tournaments and competitive pinball in general, and his arcade is legendary in pinball circles.
He's also a great guy to know, even if he isn't on the Net. Yet.
I've been going there to play pinball for nearly 20 years now; next time you're in town, make it a point to stop by. You'll be glad you did. There's really nowhere else to play -- not if you're interested in playing all the latest games, all in top condition.
The Broadway Arcade regularly runs leagues on most nights of the week. For more details, stop in or call Steve Epstein at 212-247-3725.
